Deep Seas Aquatics

1979

In 1979, Tom & Sharon opened the doors of Deep Seas Aquatics. After years of being a hobbyist, Tom's dreams of owning his own store came true. 

Pet World

1984

Then in 1984, the business grew to include more family pets! Birds, reptiles and small animals were added and the store was updated for the new friends! 

The Ark Pet Shop

1996

In 1996, the store was ready for a beautiful new name and expansion. Not only were Tom & Sharon still owning an operating the store, but their kids all began working at the family business as well!

Now in business over 40 years The Ark Pet Shop continues to serve Northwest Indiana in all their pet needs! We can't wait for you to visit!
